Corrections Policy
Last updated 13 October 2026
Anyone can suggest a correction, free of charge. Use “Suggest a correction” on a school or program page, or the correction form. A missing school can be submitted here.
How a correction is handled
- An editor checks the request against official sources: the school's own pages, the regulator, ministry or accreditor.
- If the official source supports it, the record is updated with that source and the date; if not, it is not changed, and we may reply asking for an official link.
- Every change is logged with who made it and when (audit trail).
School representatives
Representatives are verified before any privilege is granted — through an address on the school's own domain and through contact details published on the official website. Verified representatives can submit official program information; it still goes through editorial review. Representative verification is requested from a school page.
Protected fields
Schools and representatives can never directly overwrite recognition, accreditation, outcomes or operating status. These change only when an editor confirms the change on an official source.
Sponsorship
Corrections never depend on sponsorship, and sponsors receive no different treatment.
