The Institute of Dentistry in Kuopio (University of Eastern Finland) provides a 5.5-year, 330 ECTS basic degree leading to a licentiate degree in dentistry, with preclinical, simulation and teaching-clinic stages and a compulsory six-month placement at a health centre.
